Visa Application - For Australian Universities

In order to study in Australia or New Zealand for a period longer than three months you are required to have a Student Visa.

A student visa enables you to study full time with a registered educational provider and also allows you to work 20 hours a week during term time and full time during the holidays .  You can arrive in Australia 90 days before your course starts but you are not allowed to start work until your course starts.

Your visa is valid throughout the duration of your studies and from one to three months after the course has finished depending on the duration of the course.

Visa application fee is AU$540 and applications take up to a month.
