Professional Membership
For students studying professonal degrees you need to ensure that the degrees are recognised by the countries relevant professional body and if the degree is recognised by professional bodies in other countries.
For many professional qualifications there is a level of recognistion between countries but sometimes additional papers have to completed. For instance in law, to qualify as a lawyer in Australia means that to practice in the UK you have to take four 3 hour papers on areas that are specific to English law.
It is essential to check the recognistion of the degree you are taking to ensure it will enable you to enter your profession of choice.
