Going to Australia can sometimes be financially difficult, but many Australian Universities provide a large range of international student scholarships that can help students to pay for their tuition fees.
The University of New South Walse has many scholarships that they give to International students on either a merit (academically or for sporting achievement) or need basis and also offers more general scholarships for which International students can apply.
For example, students who are high achievers will automatically be considered for the International High Achiever Scholarships when they put an application into UNSW – prize money ranges from $2,000 to $26,000 for one year.
All through their studies, students of the University of New South Wales are able to apply for different scholarships - many on offer are for students who have already done a year of study or are in their final year of studies at the University.
Scholarships are also available for those who make a contribution to the University - the Bill Pardy University Challenge Award gives money to students who have completed at least one year of full-time study in an undergraduate degree at UNSW to participate in and contribute to the cultural life of the University.
