STUDY TO WORK CANADA
You can apply for your students visa once you receive the Acceptance Letter from university & have proof of funds for fees and living costs, you may be asked for medical and/or security check. Family members are included on the study visa.
A study permit allows student to work on campus at recognised institution. Student work rights – if a student has meet study targets he/she can apply for off campus work visa allowing 20 hours a week and fulltime during holidays.
Partners of students can apply for an open work permit which means they do not need a job offer or a labour market opinion from Service Canada.
Children do not have to pay school fees
Working after graduation – The Post Graduation Work Permit allows you to gain Canadian Work experience after you have completed your studies. Work permits are valid for the length of your study permit to a maximum of 3 years.
Staying in Canada Permanently – Canadian experience class makes it easier for international students to apply for permanent residency. If you have graduated from a post secondary programme at an eligible Canadian Institution and have a least one years relevant work experience after graduation you may be eligible.
Canada will accept a total of 1,000 applications from international students who have completed at least two years of study towards a PhD and or who graduated from a Canadian PhD program in the 12 months before the date their application is received by CIC.
