This diploma is open to students who have completed a Bachelor's degree, ie a graduate. The diploma consists of five undergraduate papers. Accounting Specialisation If you have already completed a Commerce or other degree and want to embark on a new area in Commerce, then a good option may be to enrol in the Graduate Diploma in Commerce (GDipCom). To gain an Accounting specialisation, students must complete five papers: - ACCY 231;
- ACCY 223 or ACCY 232;
- one of ACCY 302, 303, 305 or 308; and
- two further courses from ACCY 300-399*.
* One of these may be replaced by an approved pair of ACCY 400-level courses. Note: Prequisities and corequisites must also be met. Note: This qualification does not meet the academic requirements of either of the professional accounting bodies that VUW is accredited to.
