The Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing offers Registered Nurses a wide range of choice in courses. You simply choose two courses of 30 points each from the MA (Applied) in Nursing schedule that together support your analytic and reflective skills in relation to practice. You'll be required to attend Schools and should allow about 12 hours per week per course for your self-directed study. It usually takes 12 months to complete the programme, but you must complete it within two years of your enrolment. If you complete the programme successfully, you'll be able ot apply for entry to the Postgraduate Diploma, MA (Applied) or MN (Clinical) (if the courses are appropriate for the MN (Clinical) pathway). Your certificate courses will count towards these programmes, however, you'll be required to relinquish your Certificate when you are awarded a higher qualification.
