Master of Professional Language Studies in Language Teaching - AUT University
This masters degree offers graduates a one year programme to develop advanced professional skills in teaching English or another language. It provides advanced academic knowledge combined with practical language teaching. The programme is for teachers who have a preliminary qualification and experience in language teaching. NOTE: Students wishing to start the programme mid-year will need to study part time as Semester 1 papers are a pre-requisite for a Semester 2 paper. OR - A professional qualification in language teaching with a B average, with at least two years of relevant professional experience.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Applicants for whom English or Māori is not their first language are required to provide proof of an acceptable pass/grade gained in an accepted English language test.
