The programs provide students with superior levels of skill across the spectrum of possible musical professions and are structured with this goal in mind. Postgraduate music studies at the Conservatorium can be customised to individual specialisations. Credit points are dedicated to the chosen practical study and a set of courses relative to the main area of study,after which students can choose from a broad selection of electives, enabling them to customise the study program to their own professional aims. All students will have the opportunity to present their work to the public, whether in recitals, print or electronic media. Students wishing to pursue the Masters may choose from these main areas: Music Technology, Composition, Instrumental Performance or Conducting, Choral Studies, and Orchestral Playing. These areas of study are also available within the Graduate Certificate and Diploma programs, along with pedagogy, opera and vocal performance.
