The Graduate Certificate of Engineering program provides academic knowledge and practical and problem-solving skills in their discipline area. The Graduate Certificate of Engineering equips graduate engineers with skills in a wide variety of engineering fields. The program will enhance the career prospects of engineers and engineering managers. The program offers courses in the disciplines of: - Coastal Engineering
- Engineering Management
- Structural and Geotechnical Engineering.
Attendance From 2008, all programs will be delivered on-campus with the exception of Coastal Engineering. Coastal Engineering may be offered in off-campus, distance mode to allow students to complete the courses on a part-time basis. Environmental Engineering is offered in both modes, online and on-campus. Career opportunities This degree has been designed to meet the needs of the engineering profession. This program allows graduate engineers to build on, and update their knowledge, and learn in additional areas to those taken in their undergraduate degree. Degree graduates will be positioned to seek professional employment, advance their career, and assume a leadership role within their engineering discipline. Graduates of the Master of Engineering with Advanced Studies will be also eligible to apply for a research higher degree to pursue further research studies in their discipline area.
