About this program

Graduate Certificate in Training & Development > Master of Training & Development

These programs build upon and extend candidates' existing knowledge for professional roles in the fields of adult, vocational and community education, training and professional development. In addressing their professional needs, students construct an individually tailored program of study from a suite of existing courses focussing on diverse aspects of adult and vocational teaching, adult literacy and numeracy, and human resource development.

All taught courses are offered through a flexible mode of delivery that recognises and addresses the needs of adult students who are engaged in employment or other activities. The Masters degree provides course work and research-based options for developing the candidates' capacity to work in and/or advance careers. Independent study in the form of a dissertation is available. Students wishing to progress to research higher degrees (PHD or MPhil) need to complete a 40cp dissertation.
