This program offers students a comprehensive graduate education in both the empirical and theoretical aspects of contemporary international affairs. It is appropriate for those wishing to undertake further academic or vocational studies in the field. Students undertaking this program are able to develop expertise in particular aspects of international relations including globalisation studies, international environmental issues and Asian studies. Attendance The Graduate Certificate in International Relations is offered full-time and part-time on campus at the Nathan campus. You may choose to study courses at other campuses if or where the program structure allows. As a full-time student, you will generally attend 8-12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester. International students must maintain a full-time study load. Career opportunities Graduates of the program could be expected to find employment in government, especially in diplomacy, strategic analysis, trade and investment relations, and international cultural contacts.
