Basic Entry Requirements

Language - IELTS result of 5.5 on an Academic Test (or 5.0 with some language study added).  Language levels demonstrably equal to these requirements will be accepted from some countries.

Academic - Equal to Australian year 12

IELTS Test Centre

NMIT is one of the largest and most successful providers of tertiary education and vocational education and training in Melbourne and Australia. The IELTS Test Centre at NMIT in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, offers the internationally recognised IELTS English language test.

Tests are held at NMIT’s Preston Campus, which is situated 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and easily accessed by public transport or car. Free car parking is available at NMIT car park during weekends.

Airport Pick Up

A free service to all new students who want our help when they first arrive in Australia.

We will pick you up from Melbourne Airport and arrange temporary accommodation.
