Recent affiliations and collaborations with Opera Queensland, the Queensland Performing Arts Trust and the Guildhall School of Music, London, have provided exciting and innovative performance experiences for program students. This working relationship with professional partners is being consistently developed and expanded. Attendance The Graduate Diploma of Music, Vocal Performance is offered full-time on campus at the Queensland Conservatorium, South Bank. As a full-time student you will generally attend eight - twelve hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester. Classes are scheduled during the day and sometimes rehearsals will be scheduled that move into the evening throughout the week. Performances may fall on weekends. Students may take a reduced study load but it is requested that you negotiate this with the convenor. You will be classed as a part-time student if you enrol in less than 30 credit points per semester. This may affect entitlement to Centrelink benefits. International students must maintain a full-time study load. Mid-year entry is possible but not advisable because of the developmental and ensemble nature of the program.
