The Master of Wildllife Conservation is offered jointly by the Graduate School of the Environment and the Department of Biological Sciences. The program aims to imbue students with an understanding of the inter-disciplinary nature of the management decision making, while providing an overview of the ecological basis of conservation, harvest management or pest control. Students will gain skills in handling, marking, observing and conducting censuses of wild animals, with particual knowledge on the biology, ecology and behaviour of wild animals in Australia.

The aim of the progam is to provide students with the skills necessary for employment in some aspect of wildlife or conservation at management level and/or research.  
Requirements - 2009 :
Entry Requirements: Bachelor degree in biological sciences with a GPA of 2.50 (out of 4.00)or equivalent. Professional experience will be taken into account

Work Experience Requirements: Not required, but will be taken into account with assessing applicant's eligiblity for entry to the program.
