This program is designed to incorporate the skills required for audiologists joining the profession and finding employment in a variety of settings.

Clinical experience is organised for each student and is concurrent with the theory units of the program. A wide variety of guest lecturers who are experts in their fields provide valuable input to the lecture program.

Requirements - 2009 :
Entry Requirements: Bachelor degree in a relevant area eg. Medicine, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Psychology or Linguistics from a recognised university. An interview may be required as part of the selection process.

Due to the clinical nature of this program, spaces are limited. Therefore, entry is competitive. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place in the program.

English Language Requirements:
  • IELTS of 7.0 overall with 7.0 in each section
  • TOEFL (Paper based test): Score of 600 overall, with 6.0 TWE, 56 Listening, 56 Reading, 63 Structure/ Written Expression
  • TOEFL (Computer based test): 250 overall, with 22 Listening, 22 Reading, 27 Structure/ Writing
  • TOEFL (Internet based test): Score of 100 overall, with 22 Listening, 22 Reading, 26 Writing, 26 Speaking

Students who do not meet the English entry requirements above are advised to include an English Language Course prior to commencing full time study.
