The Bachelor of Health Science is a popular degree programme that offers a wide range of options in the field of health care. Due to competition for places, applicants may be unsuccessful in gaining initial admission to the degree of their choice. One option is for unsuccessful applicants to enrol in the BHSc common first semester, which comprises four papers.
In this semester, students are provided with information about all Bachelor of Health Science majors. At the end of the semester, students can reapply for the degree for which they first applied, or any of the other Bachelor of Health Science programmes. Selection is based on the student’s first semester grades.
