DEGREES AHEAD was developed in response to the growing demand by UK students for information on under graduate and post graduate opportunities at overseas universities. Joanna Turner the Director of DEGREES AHEAD has studied at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the UK and New Zealand. Over the past few years Joanna became increasingly aware of the increase in students studying outside their own country and how UK students were not taking advantage of the many benefits gained from studying in another country. By offering a consultancy and advice service DEGREES AHEAD will enable UK students to study at quality overseas universities Joanna has been involved in International Education for the past 10 years working with universities across the Globe to recruit international students. Joanna worked with the Ministry of Education in New Zealand in developing the Code of Practice for the pastoral care of international students.
