The program provides an avenue for qualified dentists to develop advanced clinical and research skills in a dental specialty in a format appropriate for the profession. The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry is a three-year full-time coursework degree combining advanced clinical training and research and the following specialty will be offered from 2008: Professional recognition This doctoral degree allows students to specialise in a chosen discipline which may lead to specialist registration with the Dental Board of Queensland. International students should be aware that from 1 October 2009, the Dental Board of Queensland5 will introduce an English language proficiency policy which is available on their website.
