Program Code: LGEG Program Level: Postgraduate SATAC code: 4GD026 Home Campus: Mawson Lakes Program Length (in EFTSL): 1 AimThis program provides graduates in information technology oriented engineering disciplines with an advanced understanding of the current practice and technology in one of the following streams: Advanced Manuacturing Technology Manufacturing Management Entry requirementsApplicants would normally have completed a degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualification. Normally, this qualification will be an engineering degree. International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic): Minimum score of 6.0 in Reading and Writing subscores and minimum overall score of 6.0 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test such as TOEFL or the appropriate Academic English language level delivered at CELUSA; or Successful completion of a tertiary qualification at diploma level or above completed in Australia within the last two years; or Successful completion of two or more years of tertiary study at diploma level or above conducted and completed in English within the last five years in a country in which: - English is an official language; or
- English is commonly used, as determined by the University.
Where the study in English was more than five years ago, this requirement may be satisfied by subsequent and recent work experience of two or more years duration in a setting where English is the language of business subject to satisfactory evidence as determined by the Program Director. Content/structureThe Graduate Diploma requires the completion of appropriate courses totalling 36 units of which at least 22.5 units must be from their choice of stream (Advance Manufacturing Technology or Manufacturing Management). Some graduate diplomas have restrictions on the selections of courses and applicants are referred to the Program Director to choose a particular program of study appropriate to their academic background and professional interest. Fee informationFees for International students: $AU 21,000 per 1.0 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010. Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units. Fees for International students are determined one year in advance and are subject to variation. Program requirements| Course name | Area + Cat. No. | Units | EFTSL |
