Program Code: ICPM Program Level: Postgraduate SATAC code: 4GC058 Home Campus: City East Program Length (in EFTSL): 0.5 AimThis program is designed to provide graduates and experienced professionals with an introduction to postgraduate studies in assets, facilities and project management. Entry requirementsApplicants would normally hold an undergraduate degree or have a minimum of six years relevant professional experience. For international applicants for whom English is a second language, the minimum English language requirements are: International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic): with a minimum overall score of 6.0 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test such as TOEFL or the appropriate Academic English language level delivered at CELUSA; or Successful completion of a tertiary qualification at diploma level or above completed in Australia within the last two years; or Successful completion of two or more years of tertiary study at diploma level or above conducted and completed in English within the last five years in a country in which: - English is an official language; or
- English is commonly used, as determined by the University.
Where the study in English was more than five years ago, this requirement may be satisfied by subsequent and recent work experience of two or more years duration in a setting where English is the language of business subject to satisfactory evidence as determined by the Program Director. Content/structureThe Graduate Certificate requires completion of a total of 18 units of courses. HonoursNot applicable Fee informationFees for International students: $AU 10,500 per 0.5 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010. Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units. Notes- The Principles of Project Management A course (BUSS 5142) is compulsory and should be undertaken at the first opportunity. The Strategic Asset Management (BUSS 5256) course is also compulsory within this program.
- Courses in the Assets and Facilities stream may be substituted by other Project Management courses subject to the guidance of the Program Director.
- Credit will not normally be granted for more than one third of the total units of the program
