Program Code: DCMT Program Level: Postgraduate Home Campus: City West Program Length (in EFTSL): 0.5 AimThe program is designed to provide education for graduates and other students with interest in the area of management. A general management degree can be completed or specialisations are available in the following areas: Administrative Management; Event Management; Integrated Supply Chain Management; Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Manufacturing and Tourism Management. Entry requirementsEntrants to the program shall normally hold: - A successfully completed Bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent*; or
- Four years relevant work experience and a Diploma in a relevant discipline; or
- Two years relevant work experience and an Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline; or
- Relevant work experience for at least 6 years.
* Normally applicants who have completed a Bachelors degree with a grade point average of 4 or better will be eligible for entry. English language entry requirements For international applicants for whom English is a second language, the minimum English language requirements are : International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic): Minimum score of 6.0 in Reading and Writing sub scores and minimum overall score of 6.5 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test such as TOEFL or the appropriate Academic English language level delivered at CELUSA; or Successful completion of a tertiary qualification at bachelor level or above completed in Australia within the last two years; Successful completion of at least two years of tertiary study at bachelor level or above conducted and completed in English within the last five years in a country in which:
Where the study in English was more than five years ago, this requirement may be satisfied by subsequent and recent work experience of at least two years duration in a setting where English is the language of business subject to satisfactory evidence as determined by the University.
Content/structureTo qualify for the award students must complete one division core course, two courses in the area of specialisation and one elective course for a total of 18 units. Fee informationFees for International students: $AU 9,960 per 0.5 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010. Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units. Rules- Students who have previously completed courses from the division core can apply for credit.
- Students who have a background or previous studies in a particular course may substitute a course of equal value and standing with the approval of the program director

- Choose electives from any School of Management postgraduate courses in any other specialisation areas listed above. A course from another division can be studied only with the permission of Program Director. Some specialisations may have prescribed electives. Not all elective courses will be available in any one year.
- Students studying the Integrated Supply Chain Management specialisation may choose electives from the School of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering with the permission of the Program Director.
- The program may be taken part-time or full-time.
- This is a full fee paying program.
