   This degree can be taken by recognition of previously undertaken coursework in obtaining specialist clinical qualifications in emergency medicine and includes a thesis on a wide variety of research topics, from large-scale epidemiological studies to animal, laboratory or clinical studies. It is a broad-based degree incorporating recognition of seven years of coursework and research in postgraduate specialist training, as well as formal research training in preparing a thesis.
Admission requirements: 
   Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery of this University or equivalent, and completion or in the process of specialist training in emergency medicine leading to fellowship from an appropriate college as recognised by the Faculty
