It will give you a comprehensive understanding of new styles of service delivery, and upgrade your professional and management skills, preparing you for leadership of human services agencies. If you hold an undergraduate degree in psychology, education, nursing or related professions and are seeking employment in human services, this course will provide you with core knowledge and skills in a range of practice fields. Entry requirements Applicants must have:
- a three year undergraduate degree in human services or social work; or
- a three-year non-human services undergraduate degree with at least one year of demonstrated employment experience in the community service industry or related occupations such as teaching, nursing or allied health, community development, psychology or law.
Alternatively, students with at least five years of experience in the human services industry who can establish to the satisfaction of the course coordinator that they have accumulated the requisite academic capacity to function at a postgraduate level will be accepted into the Graduate Certificate.
