Overview An objective of this double degree is to provide graduates with the ability to practise law in light of the complex environments generated by manufacturers, data processing consultancies and private and government organisations. Alternatively, graduates can choose to practise as computing professionals specialising in legal applications or information systems. Cooperative Education Program An optional one-year period of paid work experience in an area of information technology is available to eligible full-time students. The Cooperative Education Program is a joint venture between employers and educators to better prepare students for employment upon graduation. Companies that QUT's Cooperative Education students have worked with include Energex, Boeing, CITEC, Global Banking and Securities Transaction, various Queensland Government departments, Dialog, TABQ, RACQ and Sun Microsystems.
