WHAT IS INTEGRATED BODY THERAPIES?
Integrated Body Therapies encompasses a wide variety of therapies that involve the physical manipulation of the muscles and fascia of the body as well as stimulation of energy flow and organ systems. Such therapies include remedial massage, reflexology, shiatsu, trigger point therapy, and exercise therapy.

This is the most comprehensive course in Integrated Body Therapies on offer in Australia today and is for the student who wants to study a large number of subjects relating to massage therapy and the musculoskeletal system. Students will learn a variety of techniques such as remedial massage, shiatsu, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, exercise therapy, myofascial release and biomechanics.

This course includes the full curriculum of the Diploma of Remedial Massage course from the National Health Training Package HLT02 and graduates receive this qualification in addition to their Diploma of Integrated Body Therapies. Students also complete the full Certificate IV in Aromatherapy curriculum and additionally receive this qualification.

This course is compliant with the national standards for massage practitioners. These standards may be required by some health funds, employers and associations as well as other colleges' and universities' recognition programmes for further study.

The Diploma of Integrated Body Therapies course allows graduates to practice as remedial massage practitioners and has a very high level of recognition with most of the major health funds and employers in Australia.

Graduates of this course may be eligible to sit ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) Diploma examinations. Fees are payable. ITEC is a leading UK based accreditation body.
