Incorporating the Graduate Certificate in Career Development
This programme is appropriate for those who are currently working in the career development field but who lack formal qualifications, as well as those who aspire to work in this field. Graduates meet the education requirements for Professional Membership in the Career Practitioners Association of New Zealand (CPANZ). Students have the option of exiting the programme with a Graduate Certificate in Career Development upon successful completion of the first half of the course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- In order to be admitted to a graduate diploma or a graduate certificate, applicants shall normally have completed the requirements of one of the following; a three year qualification from a New Zealand tertiary institution or equivalent, or relevant professional experience
- An interview may be required.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for whom English or Māori is not their first language are required to provide proof of an acceptable pass/grade gained in an accepted English language test.
THE KEY SKILLS YOU WILL ACQUIRE
This qualification will equip graduates with the specialist knowledge and skills that are fundamental to successful practice in the career development field. Furthermore, graduates will be able to apply the knowledge and skills to facilitate effective career development for a variety of clients from diverse cultural contexts.
