This major provides a strong foundation for a career in human health and the medical sector. The programme covers anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on the cardiorespiratory system. It also includes nutrition, biophysics and genetics. ENTRY REQUIREMENT - University Entrance (UE) is the minimum entry requirement and science subjects are useful but not required.
- Preferred subjects at Level 3 on entry: Biology, Chemistry or Physical Education, Statistics and Modelling.
THE KEY SKILLS YOU WILL ACQUIRE Graduates will have a comprehensive knowledge of normal physiological processes of human body systems and practical experience in investigating and measuring physiological variables.
