Therefore, a graduate who is not only trained in understanding the human psyche, but also in the skills of business and marketing is very sought after in the business world. An AUT conjoint degree in psychology and business could be right up your alley. In order to graduate with a conjoint degree, students must successfully complete the core requirement of both degrees in a reduced time frame while maintaining a 'B' average ie. rather than taking 6 years this degree will take just over 4 years. This includes the psychology major in the BHSc and one of the following Bachelor of Business majors - Accounting

SPECIAL ADMISSION Applicants over 20 years of age who do not hold a university entrance qualification (such as NCEA or CIE) may qualify for university entrance via Special Admission. ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Applicants for whom English or Māori is not their first language are required to provide proof of an acceptable pass/grade gained in an accepted English language test. THE KEY SKILLS YOU WILL ACQUIRE An understanding of human emotions and how they relate and work in the real world together with an understanding of business matters and how a business works.
