Program Code: 7432 Commencement: Semester 1 (March) or Semester 2 (July) Program Duration: 6 months Estimated Tuition Fees: A$8,730 This Graduate Certificate provides students with the opportunity to study the fundamentals of optoelectronics. The names ‘optoelectronics’ and ‘photonics’ typically cover areas such as optical communications and various applications of lasers and optics in modern industrial and medical settings. This program offers theoretical and practical training in some of the disciplines that underlie these strongly growing and fast changing technologies. This program may be undertaken at the Kensington campus or by distance mode. The laboratory-based courses are only available at the Kensington campus. Entry RequirementsA recognised four-year Bachelor degree in science, engineering or equivalent. Program StructureThe following courses must be completed, totalling 18 units of credit (UOC).
