It concentrates on advanced specialist professional training in taxation. The Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation program offers exposure to the more advanced aspects of the taxation discipline and a critical understanding of the Australian tax system. Professional Recognition/Career ProspectsCompletion of the Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation provides full members of CPA Australia with the academic component required for specialist status. Study is recognised as contributing to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for CPAs and Financial Planners, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for Chartered Accountants and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for Lawyers. Entry RequirementsEntry into the Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation is normally open to graduates in taxation, law or commerce. Candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation may apply to articulate (upgrade) to the Master of Taxation after completing a minimum of two courses. Articulation is competitive and based on the student’s performance at the Diploma level.
