What is Manufacturing Engineering and Management? This involves the planning, development and control of manufacturing or service operations. Manufacturing management Engineers apply basic scientific and engineering knowledge predominantly to manufacturing systems, although the analytical fact-finding approach of the manufacturing engineer is applicable to almost any business or service enterprise. There is a flexible common first year for all BE degrees in the Faculty of Engineering except Software Engineering and Bioinformatics. This will allow students to select electives in first year and later years of the program.
