The university offers a diverse range of degree courses, provides opportunities to spend a semester at partner universities and many degrees include internships as part of the course. Griffith University has excellent employment outcomes for graduates. Chanelle will be available to talk to individual students. 7.15 pm Becky Petty from Degrees Ahead discusses student visas and immigration Becky will present how to get a student visa, the regulations of studnet visas, working on a student visa and what happens when you visa expires. 7.45 - Joanna Turner will present studying for Migration Changes in visa regulations in Australia now favour studying in Australia for migration. Occupations on the Australian Skills in Demand and the Occupational Skills Shortage List can be studied in Australia. If you study a 50 or 60 point occupation in Australia for 2 years on completion of your course you will be entitled toan 18 month work permit. Joanna takes you through the process.
