Program Components & Pathway This program can include multiple courses and different entry and exit points providing students the flexibility to begin at the most suitable stage and continue studying till they reach their desired outcome. Please see the study pathway diagram below.  General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites Direct entry into the Advanced Diploma requires the equivalent of Australian Year 12 with passes in English. Or you can enter by completing the Certificate III in Business, Business Administration or Business - Sales. Entry at the Certificate III level normally requires the equivalent of Australian Year 10 with passes in English. For Yr 10-11 and Yr 12 academic equivalence, please refer to the Entry Requirements Summary for your relevant country. This also details the normal English proficiency standard needed. What You'll Learn in This Course This course focuses on recognising the needs of the travel and tourism industry with an emphasis on developing business planning, financial management and managing staff and resources. It builds on the broad spectrum of skills and knowledge students studied in their chosen Tourism Diploma course. The focus is on research, analysis, diagnosis, decision making, idea generation and accountability. Career Outcomes With suitable experience, graduates can gain employment as a retail travel agency manager, operations/sales manager, marketing manager or open their own tourism business. Graduates, with further experience, will be able to seek employment in senior positions such as Marketing or Tourism Sales Manager in any sector of the tourism industry. They will also have the skills and knowledge to become an owner/operator. Further Study & University Options Successful completion of this Diploma may allow students to continue further studies at university in related subjects.
