The programme is intended for people holding a position of managerial responsibility in the construction industry, or who aspire to perform such a role. It aims to provide suitably qualified and experienced professionals with the management principles and techniques required for the effective management of the construction process. Subject areas emphasize applications, with projects and case studies constituting an important part of the programme. Entry To be eligible for admission, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements and have: - a degree in a construction related discipline which would normally be Architecture, Building, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Building Services/Civil/ Structural Engineering, or
- obtained an equivalent qualification or provided evidence of academic and professional attainments acceptable for this purpose to the University.
Preference will normally be given to applicants who have the support of their employers in pursuing the programme and three years' post graduation work experience in the construction industry, preferably with managerial responsibility. Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English should also fulfill the following minimum English proficiency requirement: - TOEFL score 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) or 79 (interet-based test); or
- Overall band 6.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or
- Score 450 in the new College English Test (CET-6) of China mainland or a pass in the old CET-6 test; or
- Other equivalent qualifications

Attendance is normally in the evening. In addition, there are two residential management workshops which are normally conducted at a venue outside the University.
