We aim to establish an awareness and concern in graduates with regard to the technology and management of the process through which buildings are produced. You will have a sound grasp of the principles and processes required to construct buildings of all types, of organizational and operational practices and of the financial management methods of the building industry. You will be able to exercise judgment on matters of building production management and will understand the roles and functions of other professionals involved in the multi-disciplinary building industry. Careers The construction industry is one of the most important industries in Hong Kong, employing almost 10% of the workforce. A total of 650,000 housing units have been built over the past decade and this trend is expected to continue in order to cater for the needs of an expanding and increasingly affluent population. Graduates in Construction Engineering and Management continue to be in high demand. Entry To be eligible for admission, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements and the following specific entrance requirements: - E in two of the following HKALE subjects: Physics, Engineering Science, Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Chemistry
