  • We offer a wide range of courses to provide you with the skills and knowledge essential for the study of cross-cultural communication in general, and translation/interpretation in particular.­
  • Career-wise, we train you to become a professional translator/interpreter or a language professional.  Academically, we prepare you for the pursuit of a higher degree in translation studies or other language-related academic disciplines.

To be eligible for admission, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements.

Course

  • Required courses: You will enjoy our well-designed classes in Chinese rhetoric, cultural studies, interpretation, linguistics, Putonghua, translation, .
  • Electives: You may choose from a wide range of specialized translation courses: academic writing workshop, bilingual editing, commerce, consecutive interpretation (between Cantonese and English or between Putonghua and English), law, literature, media and public administration, science and technology, terminology and many more.

Bonus Features
