Students who have successfully completed this programme: - Will be proficient, effective, and versatile communicators capable of performing a wide-range of Chinese language-related tasks in competitive and multilingual workplace;
- Will be more culturally aware, and better able to appreciate the aesthetic, moral and ethical dimensions of Chinese literature;
- Will be able to think analytically, critically, and creatively through their exposure to various schools of thoughts in Chinese literature, and through their comparative study of traditional and modern Chinese linguistics;

Careers Upon graduation, you will find work as professionals in Chinese-related fields such as media communications, publishing, advertising and education. You can work as government officers, teachers, journalists, editors and junior administrative officers in business companies. You will also be well prepared for further studies in Chinese.
