They can be employed either full-time or part-time or still attending secondary school. The course provides participants with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to meet the demands of the culinary industry. All modules are nationally accredited. | | Career Opportunities Graduates of the Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) may gain employment as qualified Chefs/Cooks in a variety of establishments. Graduates of the Diploma of Hospitality Management course may gain employment at the operational and supervisory level and also further management career opportunities in the general hospitality industry including hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs and other hospitality establishments. The Commercial Cookery component of the course also enables graduates to be employment as qualified Chefs/Cooks in a variety of establishments. | | Course Duration Diploma of Hospitality Management & Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - 2 Years Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - 1 Year | | Course Commencement Dates February and July | | Entrance Requirements Australian Year 12 (or recognised equivalent) or relevant work experience. IELTS 5.5 or higher (or recognised equivalents).
