| National Code 2007: UTE60299 New title in 2008: Advanced Diploma of Electrical/Electronics - Technology National Code 2008: UEE60306 | | Course Description The Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering provides the student with skills which include: - analysis, diagnosis, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment and systems
- primary planning, analysis and design, focused on complex electrical systems related to the hardware, control software and their inter-relationships
- identifying customer and client needs
- supervision and facilitation of the routine performance of these functions
- commissioning of advanced electrical systems and equipment in distribution and utilisation areas of electrical power systems.
| | Career Opportunities Graduates of this course may gain employment in the electrical technology and engineering industry in design, development and maintenance roles. The level of exemptions is determined by the individual tertiary institution on a case by case basis. | | Tuition Fees Year 1 - AU$9,000 Year 2 - AU$9,000 | | Assessment Methods Assessment in this program is conducted in two stages. Students must complete each module of underpinning knowledge by satisfactorily completing the required assignments and/or examinations to be eligible to attempt the relevant competency assessment.
