Course Description

This course provides students with relevant and up to date technical skills, practice in creative and lateral thinking processes, and the opportunity for them to produce professional and creative portfolio pieces which, together with practical placement in industry, will introduce them to the 'real world' working environment.

The course ensures students develop a strategy to make ongoing learning an integral part of their work in this rapidly advancing field of technology.

Entrance Requirements

Australian Year 12 (or recognised equivalent) or relevant work experience. IELTS 5.5 or higher(or recognised equivalents). Mature Age. A recent portfolio relevant to course preference must accompany application.

$AUD 9000 p.a.

Skills Recognition - Exemptions/Transfers

Students may be eligible for exemptions/transfers on the basis of previous qualifications.

Assessment Methods

Assessment is by course work and folio presentation.

Materials

Throughout the course students are expected to supply additional materials when required.

Qualification

As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised.  On successful completion students will be awarded the Diploma of Arts (Graphic Arts).
