Fees 2010 A$11,952 per session OverviewThe Graduate Diploma in Science (Biomedical Science) is designed to give graduates further training in one of the discipline areas of biomedical science. Entry Requirements / Assumed KnowledgeEntry into the Graduate Diploma in Science (Biomedical Science) requires the successful completion of a Bachelor degree, with emphasis in biomedical science of at least 3 years duration from a recognised tertiary institution. It is possible to admit only a limited number of students each year.If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, admission will be based on academic qualifications. International students are required to have achieved an IELTS score of 6, with a level of 6 in reading and writing, and 5 in speaking and listening. Course RequirementsThe Graduate Diploma in Science (Biomedical Science) is comprised of 48 credit points of subjects, and can be taken as a one year full-time, or 2 years part-time enrolment. As the program is designed specifically for each student's needs, subjects should be selected in consultation with an academic adviser and approved by the Head of School.Students may choose subjects from discipline areas including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, exercise physiology and nutrition.
